As the third and final article of 2007 I want to start off by wishing you all the best of luck in the New Year! Thus, as a special gift I share with you two very unique gadgets that will hopefully aid with your new year's resolutions. That is, if your resolutions have to do with being more punctual or saving money (two things I need to strongly work on as well!).

For those penny pinchers out there I present the Bomb Bank. A bank with a more proactive way of saving than that of the bank of piggy because when you fail to regularly insert coins the bank will erupt and spill your already saved coins. The bank lets you set your saving regularity three levels, one (one coin a day), two (one coin every three days) or three (random danger mode). There is also a party mode for when you have friends over who wish to make a game out of the Bomb Bank; with three levels of party modes, allowing you to tweak the chances of winning each round. Basically, the last person to deposit a coin in the bank and make the bank erupt wins the lot. And as ThinkGeek.com suggest, "Saving money was never so much fun . . . or dangerous"

Finally, for those, like myself, who wish to be more punctual I present the 'SnūzNLūz' alarm clock. This clock does exactly what the title suggest, snoozing and loosing; money that is. The clock connects via Wi-Fi connection to your bank account and donates $10 or more to your most hated charity every time you hit the snooze button. For example, should you be the local town butcher you could link your 'SnūzNLūz' to donate to PETA or other similar non-profit charities or organizations. Personally speaking, being the tree hugger that I am, if my alarm clock donated money to a rain forest demolishing organization I would never be late again. In fact, I'd be wide awake 5 minutes early, just to be on the safe side.

And just for laughs I give you the many faces of money from around the world.
