The uncomfortable side of credit score implementation is when your credit score is used in other unintended ways. It is understandable that the use of the score has crept into other markets. I think we can all agree that the credit crunch in the U.S. and to a lesser extent, the U.K., really exists. Industry experts, like myself, can see that the problems consumers are facing are just beginning, not ending. Now is the time to pay careful attention to your credit reports and credit scores so potential unilateral creditor actions don't sink your financial ship.
