A recent article in the Penn State newspaper disturbed me greatly. Surveys are indicating that students would rather go for a bigger paycheck over happiness, in order to deal with debts. It is one thing to seek a bigger paycheck over happiness but what these young students don’t realize is that dissatisfaction with your job easily leads you to excessive debt.
So how far would you go? Would you sleep with someone if they were willing to pay off all of your debt, right now, today? Now I guess that would be the ultimate balance transfer.
Don’t laugh at the title. Going to college is one of those things that is beaten into many of us from a very young age. We are programmed that we must go to college to succeed, but is that really a valid belief to have?
