Free Workshop Counsels Factory's Former Employees

ROCKVILLE, Md. — The Carrabus Baptist Association and the Christian Women's Job Corp, in Concord, N.C., have invited Myvesta Founder Steve Rhode and Prosperity Coach Paula Langguth Ryan to host "Success After Pillowtex," February 2. Rhode and Ryan will present three, free money coaching seminars to Kannapolis-area residents who were affected by the closing of textile manufacturer Pillowtex, Corp. in August 2003.
The seminars will be held at the Central Baptist Church of Kannapolis, 1810 Moose Road, Kannapolis, N.C. 28083. People are encouraged to register for one of the three sessions by calling 704-786-9171. The events will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

"Kannapolis and the surrounding communities grew up around the Pillowtex factory," said Doris Wilson, site coordinator for the Christian Women's Job Corp. "Hundreds of people are still struggling to find jobs and deal with the emotional upheaval caused by the plant's closing. Our people need help to move on to the next phase of their lives."
Rhode and Ryan have national reputations for coaching people to find personal success. They will help attendees to:
- Reduce stress and let go of resentment against Pillowtex;
- Deal with money problems created by the loss of income;
- Create new job opportunities; and
- Find peace of mind.
Seminar attendees are invited to sign up for free, one-on-one coaching sessions to be held on Feb. 3.
