Myvesta Appoints New President
Organization Refocuses Efforts on Consumer Education
For Immediate Release: December 19, 2003
ROCKVILLE, Md. Pamela S. Rhode has been named Myvesta President following the resignation of the organization's co-founder Steve Rhode. Ms. Rhode takes the organization's reigns as Myvesta changes its focus to work solely on consumer education.
"For years, Myvesta has been an innovative leader in developing products and services for people in financial trouble," said Ms. Rhode, who has been Myvesta's Operations Director since 1996. "We will use that innovative spirit to expand our education and outreach." The organization plans to do more surveys to track consumer behavior and develop publications that help people gain financial strength.
"The tide has turned in terms of the support that people receive from creditors," Ms. Rhode added. "We will use our ten years of experience working directly with clients to create materials that help people manage today's financial maze."
Former President Steve Rhode said, "Now is the time for me to follow the same bold advice I often gave clients. I know in my heart that I need to focus on what I love to do, working with people one-on-one." Mr. Rhode will begin providing money coaching to clients through his new company called, Steve Rhode, Inc.
Pam Rhode brings almost 20 years of accounting and business management experience to her new role. "My most important asset is my personal knowledge of the despair and isolation that people feel when they are having financial trouble," she said. "I also know the complete relief that comes with having a trusted resource to help you find victory. I want Myvesta to continue helping people conquer their debt fears."
